Tulsa Spring

Does anything say spring quite like a garden filled with beautiful, blooming flowers? This is the perfect time of year for a stroll through one of the gorgeous public gardens near Tulsa homes for sale, with both the Tulsa Garden Center and Philbrook Gardens featuring thousands of different plants to see, many of which are in bloom during the spring.   • Discover Woodward Park and Conservatory
    Woodward Park is at the center of everything at Tulsa Garden Center, and includes the Conservatory at Woodward Park which is well worth a visit on its own. A large greenhouse with timeless design which has stood for more than 100 years, the Conservatory recently underwent a restoration project which repaired wear and modernized some of the greenhouse systems, all while retaining the same historic design.

  • Explore the Tulsa Arboretum
    A favorite feature for many visitors, the Tulsa Arboretum was funded by the Tulsa Garden Center, and can also be found at Woodward Park. It's a 3.5-acre "living museum" featuring a variety of tree species from around the world. Tulsa Arboretum was originally commissioned in 1964, and many of the trees found there have been growing since then, with more added over the years.

This year marks the 70th annual Spring Fest, a free event which is open to the public on April 11-12, 2025 featuring food, shopping, classes, and more. There are tons of other events here throughout the spring, including gardening classes for all ages.

  • Bringing Tuscany to Tulsa
    Located on the grounds of the Philbrook Museum of Art, Philbrook Gardens was designed to bring to mind the gardens and natural landscapes of Tuscany, while fitting seamlessly into the beauty of Tulsa. Philbrook Gardens covers 25 acres in total around the museum, with a wide range of plants and plenty of scenic places where you can sit down to take it all in.

  • Garden Cats, Art, and Cabin
    While you're here, you might run into Cleome, the popular cat who lives in the garden and frequently pops up in pictures from visitors. In addition to natural beauty, you'll discover public art including a sculpture garden. The largest art installation is The Venerate Outpost, a large, restored cabin created by an award-winning artist that's artistic on its own and also serves as a new space for events.
