Fall Trees

Summer may be winding down, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun outdoors. Instead of swimming and sunbathing, why not head out to enjoy some gorgeous fall scenery? Our real estate agents have gotten to know the natural landscapes around Tulsa very well over the years. Here are some of the spots they think shine the most during this season.

  • Oologah Lake – 8400 E Highway 88, Oologah, OK 74053
Colorful fall leaves look incredible when reflected in still water, and that's exactly what you'll see at Oologah Lake. This section of Osage Hills State Park is surrounded by mature oak, hickory, and red maple trees that create a beautiful display in the fall months. If you've got some sailing experience, you can even take a boat out on the water and enjoy the view from a whole new angle.

  • Gathering Place - 2650 S John Williams Way E, Tulsa, OK 74114
Constructed by the George Kaiser Family Foundation just seven years ago in 2018, Gathering Place is one of the most impressive community parks in the entire country. Its grounds are covered in hickory, red maple, and other trees with dramatic fall color changes, but that's just the start of what you'll find on your autumn excursion. Look out for flowering dogwood and osmanthus trees and fall flowers like autumn sage, asters, and willow leaf sunflowers that bloom throughout the season.
  • Tulsa Greek Festival – 1222 S Guthrie Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119
For more than six decades, the Tulsa Greek Festival has been one of the city's favorite cultural celebrations. Held each September, it offers a unique blend of vibrant traditions, authentic Greek cuisine, live music, and spirited dancing. The fall season makes the outdoor portions of the festival even more enjoyable, with cooler weather perfect for strolling between food stalls and vendor booths.

  • Oxley Nature Center – 6700 Mohawk Blvd, Tulsa, OK 74115
Nestled inside Mohawk Park, the Oxley Nature Center offers more than nine miles of trails that wind through forests, wetlands, and prairies. Fall is one of the best times to visit, with the foliage turning vivid shades of gold, orange, and red. Keep your eyes peeled for migrating birds and other wildlife preparing for winter.

  • The Peach Barn Orchard & Bakery – 3557 OK-51B, Porter, OK 74454
While famous for its summer peaches, The Peach Barn Orchard & Bakery offers plenty to enjoy in the fall. Seasonal baked goods, fresh produce, and a picturesque setting make it a wonderful stop for a crisp autumn afternoon. Enjoy the colorful landscape while savoring homemade pies, breads, and jams made from locally sourced ingredients.

  • Robinson Ranch – 2505 E 141st St, Bixby, OK 74008
This family-owned farm and produce stand is a fall favorite for fresh vegetables, pumpkins, and other seasonal goodies. In addition to the harvest offerings, the surrounding rural scenery provides a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing fall outing. Whether you're stocking up on local produce or just taking in the crisp autumn air, Robinson Ranch makes for a perfect seasonal stop.
