Fall Festivals

Temperatures may be dropping, but it's no time to hibernate. As summer gives way to fall, Tulsa's festival season remains in full swing. Our real estate agents share their must-see events that should be on your list as well.

  • Tulsa State Fair - Expo Square, 4145 E. 21st St., Tulsa, OK 74114
With upwards of one million people attending across 11 days, the Tulsa State Fair holds the title of the city's largest family-friendly event. It's hard to believe this mega-festival started in the 1890s as a modest street fair. In addition to dozens of thrilling rides and food stands featuring everything from Cajun egg rolls to peanut butter soup, the fair offers spectacular entertainment. Five different venues will have live music, and other attractions include Disney on Ice, Perondi's Stunt Dogs and Diving Show, and Sea Lion Splash. The Tulsa State Fair takes place from 9/25 to 10/5. Visit the website for the full schedule and pricing.

  • Route 66 Marathon - 812 E. Admiral Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74120
Billed as "Tulsa's Biggest Block Party," the Route 66 Marathon showcases scenic and historic sights around the city. From the downtown starting line, participants make their way through a number of Tulsa's diverse neighborhoods as well as the University of Tulsa campus. Not quite up to a marathon? There's also a half-marathon as well as 5K and one-mile run/walks. In honor of the marathon's 20th anniversary, medals will bear the likeness of the Blue Whale of Catoosa, a Route 66 landmark. Get on your marks on 11/22-11/23. Visit the website for registration fees and race information.

  • Festival Americas - Guthrie Green, 111 Reconciliation Way, Tulsa, OK 74103
Celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Tulsa's Hispanic and Latino communities during Festival Americas, with 2025 marking the beginning of the festival's second decade. Enjoy classic foods and beverages as you watch performances from traditional musicians and dancers. Explore the creativity of the Hispanic/Latino culture with interactive art exhibits and live mural painting. Mark your calendar for 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. on 10/4. Admission is free for all guests.

  • Pickin' in the Park - Gathering Place, 2650 S. John Williams Way E, Tulsa, OK 74114
Music can forge bonds between people of all ages and backgrounds. Pickin' in the Park provides an opportunity to join family, friends, and neighbors in making some beautiful music. This year, a split format doubles the fun of the acoustic jam session. The first hour is devoted to jazz and swing, while the second hour features folk and bluegrass. Musicians and singers of any skill level are welcome to join in, or feel free to listen from the audience. Pickin' starts at 10 a.m. on 10/4, and there's no fee for the event.
