Sitting on 460 acres of land in northwest Tulsa, the Thomas Gilcrease House is operated as a museum that is open to the public. The house was built in 1913 and holds a renowned collection of Native American and Western art and artifacts, much of which was gathered by Gilcrease himself. The house is considered by many to be one of the most haunted places in Tulsa, though the spirits that haunt it—including the late Thomas Gilcrease—are believed to be friendly and benevolent.
