The building once housed the First National Auto Bank, a six-lane drive-through banking location that was the largest of its kind when it opened back in 1958. Mr. Kim's

Mr. Kim's is an Asian-inspired steakhouse run by a Korean-American chef who is passionate about blending the culinary traditions of both cultures. Accordingly, they serve classic steakhouse fare, such as prime rib and brisket, alongside Korean dishes like galbi short ribs and beef bulgogi. Their menu also includes a bevy of meat-free dishes, such as grilled asparagus, broccolini, and baby bok choy, perfect for vegetarians and vegans.

All of their entrees are seared right at your table, adding a dash of excitement to your dining experience. Pair your selection with a glass of soju, dokkaebi, or their signature yuzu lager and a cloud of house-made cotton candy for dessert.

The restaurant is open until 10 PM on Sundays and from Tuesday to Thursday. They close one hour later on Fridays and Saturdays, and they're closed altogether on Mondays.

Nola's Creole and Cocktails

Nola's Creole and Cocktails offers a taste of the Crescent City right here in downtown Tulsa. They're known for their upscale Creole-inspired dishes like The Big Easy, a grilled ribeye steak served on rice and topped with rich crawfish étouffée.

We love their spicy Cajun cooking, but in our opinion, their cheese dishes are seriously underrated. Some of the best include: 

• Mardi Gras Pasta - A mixture of veggies, rotini, crawfish, and shrimp smothered in rich parmesan sauce
• Red Allen Croque-Monsieur - A fresh baguette hollowed out and filled with ham, gruyere cheese, and a river of Mornay sauce
• Lobster Mac and Cheese - A heaping helping of macaroni mixed with morsels of lobster and plenty of spicy cheese sauce

They're open until 10 PM Sunday through Wednesday and until 11 PM Thursday through Saturday.

Bodean 

Address: 3376 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK 74135 

If you know your date loves seafood, you'll make their day with a dinner at Bodean. This place is a little pricier than some of the other options we've listed, but their food is too good not to mention. 

The menu changes daily depending on what's available at local fisheries, allowing the chefs to maintain very high standards for freshness and quality. Some of the dishes you might find here include:

• Appetizers like calamari and crab cakes 
• Luxury seafood like coldwater lobster tails and Alaskan king crab 
• Grilled fish like sea bass and yellowfin tuna 

They also offer a handful of non-seafood dishes, such as grilled ribeye steak, lo mein, and charcuterie boards. 

The restaurant is open until 9 p.m. every day except Sunday and offers live jazz tunes most evenings. They've also got an exemplary wine list to sip from while you enjoy the music. 

If the prices are a little outside your budget, consider visiting their on-site market instead. They sell the same seafood there that they use in-house, but you won't pay a premium for labor or presentation. Take the fish home and have a fun cooking night with your date instead! 

Soma Tulsa
